Hey gang!
This has been a peculiar week for me, and I hope they continue this way for the foreseeable future...
.. to an extent!
My professional life is getting better , as I have been offered 3 different positions within my company (and all for better pay), the current position's hours this week gave me no problems, and my colleagues were eerily cooperative.
The best thing was yet to come...
A lady co-worker whom I've had my eye on asked me out with her NEXT weekend- and she told me "we'll be out of town , so we can share a [hotel] room" in the town we'll be in for that weekend.
Naturally, I was FAR from averse to the idea, and, by NOT sticking my foot in my mouth as usual, I managed to get a date with her.,,,after all, it's right before our birthdays.
At any rate, after this IDYLLIC week, i mentioned to my my best bud / co-worker about the date...and the first thing HE does is tries to trump me with a higher story involving the same woman I'll be going out with (nope! I'm not letting my plans get screwed up by a cock-blocker, which I know he's trying to be, but read on- he kinda kicked himself in the balls, metaphorically.)
Let's just say he said she wanted to take HIM to the Virgin Islands...
My buddy, who, like the girl in question, and MYSELF, is a Scorpio--- good ol' devious November children , the three of us.
This has made for some unusual stumbling blocks my "friendly antagonist" has thrown in my way- most of them as humorous as an episode of "jackass".
At this point, he has managed to get me SEVERAL dates lined up -unfortunately , their all on my birthday
(which is good, because the probablilty of a birthday 3some climbs dramatically when there are , at this point, 16 women who are taking me out... all so he has time with that ONE.
Side story to this... his "kinda sorta girlfriend " and a girl at work he wants to bang are TWO of the sixteen- and my Birthday isn't until next Monday-
To be honest, it's kinda flattering -all this attention and fuss...
-But you can call me crazy if you wish, but I'd forgo ALL 16 of those women for just ONE afternoon with the one I WANT-
-and, at this point, it seems my buddy isn't making ANY points with her....
