Just found out why a friend vanished 27 years ago. Moved out overnight standing me up on coffee and a snack, and, no email contact since. Ran from a bad relationship. Came back to town, now knowing that he's succumbed to time.
Sure puts perspective on things... thinking about it.

Due to complete frustration trying to troubleshoot windows... and inability to find a reasonably quick fix, I've just spent 9 hours uninstalling software, preparing for the Big Bang II(ie: reformatting)
I figgure an hour or so reinstalling, another few for updates, then reinstllation of...
