Writing sexy stories

I've written tens of thousands of words regarding my sex life over the years. I'm basically an erotic memoirist (though I've certainly written on other subjects, too).

The main trick, at least for me, is to keep things as honest as possible. I do not embroider, fabricate or write things which self-aggrandize; I just tell the truth. As Louise Brooks once wrote, "I never write about sex unless it has a direct bearing on the character, and it always does".
