i just downloaded "darling nicky" yesterday,

Prince is cool but I wish he would quit being so anal, I really wanna do a cover of "Purple Rain" for my youtube page but I'm certain he'd send the men in black to my front door. Every single artist that has covered that song had to remove the sound to their vids, what a tool.

To be fair, she did make it her own & took a little known gem to the masses. You cant deny her credit for that.

But the version I posted is so emotional...I love it...its amazing.

And Marley you can do it if you're careful. Just don't put Prince in the title or tags. I have quite a few videos up (all the vids in that link are mine)...I am Chocobo lol.

But I really love this version. In the recent versions of this song Prince seems to just be doing it as fan service but I think this one you can tell he wanted to do it and maybe meant it ^_^

LOL well we don't celebrate it here unless we're about 5-15 years old. My time has past. And typically we dress as scary characters such as werewolves and vampires, not celebrities or 'comedy' characters.
