Road To Socialism! - Tyranny

I didn't vote for Obama but I also believe President Bush didn't do everything right either but well, Obama is continuing to carry out the same agendas that Bush did. President Obama has bills on his desk right now that will try and Ban Guns which is basically a violation of the Second Amendment "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." He is sending more troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, which we have already lost more troops already, we don't need more DEAD! He is also trying to pass a Civilian Youth Force which is a Draft 18-25 which makes it mandatory to serve. Also, where is most of the Stimilus money go? Probably in there own pockets. There is also FEMA Camps being built and Military bases being turned into camps.

Ok, so if President Obama drafts me in this little terrorism war, I really am going to have to move to another country. I was going to say I'd have to assassinate him, but you never know who is reading and might take you seriously.
But yeah! I totally agree. He makes all this talk about how Bush did things so wrong and then many of the things he does fall right in line with Bush.
But we the people deserve for the mob to elect a leader to power for its social gain. We were not nearly outgoing enough in trying to build bonds with the lower class or give them proper education in means of success.
I think we totally deserve it if we lose our democracy.
(yes I did say class. Believe it or not there are economic classes in America that are directly related to the level of education available to people)

The gun legislation in question is to reinstate the 1994 ban on assault weapons and not an outright ban on all weapons as the hysterical "Socialism" & "Tyranny" OP would lead you to believe. See the following article by J.Carter:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/27/opinion/27Carter.html?_r=1&th&emc=th

Excerpt from"What Happened to the ban on Assault Weapons?"

"THE evolution in public policy concerning the manufacture, sale and possession of semiautomatic assault weapons like AK-47s, AR-15s and Uzis has been very disturbing. Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and I all supported a ban on these formidable firearms, and one was finally passed in 1994.

When the 10-year ban was set to expire, many police organizations — including 1,100 police chiefs and sheriffs from around the nation — called on Congress and President George W. Bush to renew and strengthen it. But with a wink from the White House, the gun lobby prevailed and the ban expired..."

Carter cherishes the right to own guns but he and like minded persons do not want to own an assault weapon: to quote Carter:"because we have no desire to kill policemen or go to a school or workplace to see how many victims we can accumulate before we are finally shot or take our own lives. That’s why the White House and Congress must not give up on trying to reinstate a ban on assault weapons, even if it may be politically difficult."

I hope we do reinstate the draft--permanently. Maybe then, when all of our children might be asked to go to war, not just the children of the poor and working class, we might be much more careful when sending those sons and daughters into harm's way.
