Wow - I seriously thought no one would read that post, so to the ones who have so far thank you! To those that have left comments - a big thank you!
This has actually been a pretty good weekend, though it didn't really start out that way. This COVID 19 thing and then the demonstrations and just life in general occasionally gets the better of me. I also tend to pick sad gay-themed movies. What usually ends up happening is that by the end of the movie I am sobbing and my nose is running and my cat, who has been enjoying the luxuriousness of my lap gives me the stink eye. I did some gardening both Saturday and Sunday and even power washed my deck. It is really nice to have brainless activities to do. They help so much with taking your mind off all the shit that is going on all around you! I also have really great neighbors and so I was lucky enough to have some conversations with them. My new favorite thing to do is sit on the chaise lounge on the deck with my dog and read YA M/M Romance stories. Not going to lie that some of the stories can get me quite aroused when they get to the good parts!! I hope all of you have had a good weekend.
I think my next entry will be about my first experience - it is probably posted on this site some other place, but what the heck?
