As a member that's been around for a few years, I've noticed a few things that seem to be constant among users on here and I just wanted to share my thoughts to see if anyone else agreed.
First off, the one thing that really irks me on here is how often people just go outta their way to talk down or be a dick to other members; I mean yes, some people may ask a "stupid question" to you, or say something you don't agree on but that doesn't give you a reason to belittle them. Some people may just be on here to find things out or explore their sexuality in a safe manner. It is called LPSG for a reason, not LPAttackPeopleForNoReasonGroup. I just dont get the whole "trolling" thing, if you have that much time on your hands, why dont you use it constructively, instead of trying to piss off random people on the net?
Secondly, its not really annoying, just something that I find funny and puzzling at the same time. Frequently when I visit the chat room I see guys posting messages about them wanting to talk to other hung dudes about banging their gf, jerking off or something that's on the borderline, but then finishing it with "but I'm straight". I mean...you're already on lpsg and comfortable announcing that in main chat so why don't you just say im curious, instead of denying it? this also applies to the guys who do the same thing in forums
Thirdly is when the guys on here take pictures at angles or use Photoshop to make your dick bigger. I realize that most guys wouldnt mind being a little bigger, and especially on here where there are some pretty big dudes to "compete with" (addressing that mentality that its a big competition - something you are born with and cant control). Why bother trying to be someone or have something you're not, just to impress a bunch of people online who you don't even know? I just don't get why people cant be happy and accept themselves for who they are; which brings me to my next point...
My final addressing, is the people who come on here....of all places, and act homophobic (in chat and on the forums) towards others. I mean there is a large majority of members who are in the Gay or Bisexual category (if you want to call it that) so why bother doing that when you are just gonna seem like an ass to the majority of the people who read your closed minded commentary? And again....lpsg of all places, what do those people expect to talk about in here? What I find funny about it is...that most people who are homophobic are partially gay or at least curious themselves...which brings me back to my point of being happy with who you are.
But thats just me...
