I made a thread a couple months ago saying that basically Straight guys on Onlyfans who give us NOTHING are basically taking advantage of horny gays, and that we as a community should actively stop supporting guys like that.
Obviously Gay 4 Pay is nothing new, and for decades "straight guys" were able to capitalize off their body to make some money. But with social media and onlyfans/justforfans etc it's gotten so much worse. So I wanted to come and give a comparison, from my perspective ofcourse.
I'm 43, and I started to get into gay porn in my early 20's. I actually had to go to a store and buy DVD's (some I ordered online though). Back than we barely knew anything about any gay porn star unless they were controversial. Even than, we didn't have access to them like we do now. So if a guy was gay or straight, you wouldn't know and it didn't matter. Because at the end of the day, in the finished product... they were doing gay things. They were either being sucked off, or rimmed, or they were fucking another guy. It doesn't matter how they identified because when we watched them on the movie, they were definitely doing gay TINGZ.
This continued well into 2010, and now I have to call out Michael Hoffman. Out of hundreds and hundreds of actual gay porn stars, doing porn movies and having actual gay sex regularly... Michael Hoffman for whatever reason had the gay community in a weird chokehold. Granted the guy is cute, had a great body and even I looked at some of his videos (never paid for anything though). But I just never understood the obsession. In my opinion... why are we watching this guy solo, jack off and maybe play with his butt a little bit when we can head over to Rawfuckclub or Breeditraw and watch actual fucking with guys that have great bodies as well. Hoffman had his own share of issues with putting himself out there like that, but he was a symbol of what was to come.
Fast forward to now, there are so many threads on LPSG of random white dudes that the gays lust after and if you read those threads it's often saying "oh he charges too much for PPV" "he doesn't even show HOLE" (I find that complaint hilarious by the way). And I like that people ARE complaining and canceling subscriptions, but I feel like there's always another straight dude willing to show a LITTLE something to get some of that good gay money. It's so much worse on Tik Tok though. It's like straight guys got the memo that gays like butts, so they dance terribly or arch their back in a way to entice gay viewers so they can increase their follower and view count and make their butt profitable. But again, I often feel like those guys (not all of them) are laughing at us for liking to look at their butts ... and you all give them money???
I'm gonna wrap this up... but I feel like this is kinda detrimental to our community. And I have nothing against straight guys that actually do stuff on their channel. I mean well lit, high quality jack off videos with cum are great. There are some that take it even further by playing with toys. Those guys at least take what they do a little serious and are creative enough to come up with different types of videos for their fans. The guys that give us 10 second clips of them in the shower, or 10 second clips of them wagging their flaccid dicks, the ones out for quick money and don't feel like they need to do anything extra... that's who I'm complaining about.
And I feel like they are dominating the OF space. At the end of the day as a community I think we should FIRST support other gay performers.
