Getting the point across with a sports metaphor

I was with a group of straight guys once, and one of them said his brother pulls out rather than using a condom. One of the other guys was a shocked, and said he needed to use a condom. He explained it with a sports metaphor: there's the pregame show, the game--ugh, and the postgame show. I think it got the point, but a lot of guys are more vocal.
