Hacking The Reflex

I sure am referring to the ejaculatory reflex. It is – per definition – our involuntary, unlearned neural sexual response to stimuli. How could we interfere (hack) this reflex? And why would we want to do that? – Several commenters of an earlier post (that is a post in my original blog) gave me the idea for this entry.

The answer to the “how” of interference lies in the realm of electro stimulation (estim) as an agent for triggering and monitoring our (reflexive) climax. The keyword of that process is “neural”. The reflex is eventually triggered by neural impulses of our nervous system. Estimming means to apply low electrical currents to the genitals and/or reproductive system, the current is transformed into neural impulses or it will “mess” with existing ones.

Now, these weak electrical impulses (stimuli), applied to the male sexual center, are different from tactile stimuli. Electrical impulses translate to much more direct and deeper sensory stimuli. The idea is to gain control (hack) over the reflex for freely manipulating it.

Which brings us to the “why”. Some men sure long for extending their ejaculating (i.e. extending the duration of the reflex). Triggering the reflex and pumping semen involuntarily is (mostly) very lustful. The idea of stretching these experiences and possibly intensifying them is highly appealing for many. Using devices developed for estimming the male genitals and reproductive system promise to meet these desires.

Estim-practitioners neither mind the technical hook-up (the wiring, like in the sample image above) nor the chances of encountering discomfort by accidently overdosing the applied current when experimenting while on their quest. To the contrary, a source supplying sensory stimuli at the right spots (should vary individually) with the optimal intensity and frequency let them savor the core-characteristics of triggering the reflex, making it a most pure experience.

The example above doesn’t show sophisticated estim, but a small device sending out a (preprogrammed) set of vibrations. However, the toy illustrates the concept of being subject to involuntary responses of our body and reproductive system to directly applied sensory stimuli.

The idea of hacking the process via estim is most appealing to any lover of ejaculating, because the stimuli can be applied in a finetuned way, diffusing the PONR and interfering with the sequence of automatic muscular contractions (the reflex proper), which themselves are basically signal-processing by the nervous system (i.e. electrical). The notion is to have your muscles obey the impulses of the device, contractions being triggered or suppressed, despite the set pace of the muscular contractions (reflex) at 0.8 sec. on average. It is about overriding the reflex, hacking it, or rather hijacking it.

But is it possible and if so, in what capacity? And how do altered sensations feel? Let’s listen to some experts who exchanged their views and experiences about this very topic when commenting on that other post:

James used an older unit with 3 different controls for each channel. He said:

One [control] is intensity meaning, simply, more or less voltage. Then there is [pulse] frequency – the current goes from spikes that are so close together it’s more like a sizzle, to spikes that can be felt individually about one every 1/4 second. And then there is pulse rate – this turns the channel on and off for equal amounts of time. The time can be adjusted from about 5 seconds to a quick 4 per sec. Whatever frequency of current you are using and whatever intensity, it is the pulse rate that would (maybe?) set or modify the orgasmic pulse rate.

…on slower settings it was hard to have contractions that were out of sync with the current – by the same token a contraction wouldn’t release if the current hadn’t also released. This may also have something to do with my favorite way of circuiting my genitals – I use a butt plug electrode that applies the current right over the prostate and only that spot, and the other electrode will either be my testicles or somewhere on my cock. This setup directly stimulates the BC muscle

I’ve noticed with certain settings & intensities in estim, the electro can take control of the muscles that contract during ejaculation, at least in a limited fashion. It can cause them to contract and also force them to stay held contracted when they might otherwise try to relax.

… once the ejaculation reflex starts, the electro can override the natural pacing to a degree. Nature always wins out – eventually, but the stim can affect the outcome a bit.

… With the proper settings, the stim can force my muscles to contract and hold them contracted as my ejaculatory reflex is trying to start pulsing them. It’s a pretty mind-blowing sensation to be held stuck not just on the edge, but technically *over* it. Not teetering on the edge of the cliff, but clutching the ledge with fingers already over but not quite falling the way eons of instinct would have us do. To say that the sensation is intense is something of an understatement. … The electro can force a contraction sooner than the subject would naturally have one and hold it longer, but it can’t force the subject to relax sooner.

James in response:

First I think it is important in this subject to specify exactly what kind of circuiting is being used, it makes a real difference in what muscles will be affected/controlled. To keep it consistent I have used only one hook up. Current is applied directly over the prostate and thru a ring around the cock. This seems to be the most direct way to stimulate the muscles that contract during orgasm. With this setup I can slowly turn up the voltage and at some point, it causes irresistible and very strong contractions entirely in control of the current. The amount of voltage it takes to do this is, however, pretty strong-some might find that level uncomfortable. In any case, a contraction simply can’t be avoided or resisted as long as the current stays on. So, with this in mind and at this level of intensity…

First I tried a setting of a .35 sec duration and set 1.6 sec apart. I leave the unit off until the right moment. I edged for a while to build up semen volume and pressure going into emission, but not ejaculating, at least 10 times. When I felt the pressure was high enough I decided to cum. I hit the on button just as I felt the beginning of the first natural contraction. It was super strong and I squirted a huge high-pressure rope that bounced off my forehead. Then I had another contraction that started before the current turned back on. Halfway thru that contraction it turned on and stayed on after, but I couldn’t release it. Then it turns off and I could release, but as soon as I did, here comes another. In other words, I was held out of sync with the natural rhythm. I must say that not being able to release an orgasmic contraction is strange indeed.

Thanks to the experts we learn in what range a hacking of the ejaculatory reflex is possible. So, we can force our muscles to contract, but it is not possible to force them into relaxationmakes sense when you think about it.

Yes! I was looking for something like this! I have been experimenting with this phenomena. For me, the best way to describe it, it’s almost like forced kegal by the estim. It sorta pumps your cock automatically to where it feels like you’re about to bust but then the electrical impulse stops and it brings you back until the next pulse. I can edge for hours this way and leak pre like crazy. When I do cum it’s often hands free and it lasts a long time because the estim is still pumping my cock. Would love to share more regarding this as I think it’s a way to learn how to have multiple orgasms.
