My ass

and running... they are not friends these days.

Ran 3 miles and wow I am sucking wind at 32 min flipping minutes? Really? No, really. I'm that slow.

Fair enough, long hikes are in our future and in inclimate weather, it's the treadmill at the highest incline at 4 mph. Burn way more calories doing that then I ever did running at 8 min pace. Plus my ass will get with the program, as will my hamstrings. I love climbing for that reason.

So marathon next spring or the fall - have yet to determine what the girls and I will do. More than likely I am doing one in the Spring and another in the fall.

Forget my ass. My lungs and heart need a tune up as I'm not running as fast as before. it will take me 2 months to get that back. Good old Hal Higdon is calling me.

Right now an ice pack is calling me. Pain is bliss.

The only late-night sessions I've engaged in, include another reason for my carpal tunnel, nothing to do with my dimples.
