Owned
In the context of a relationship what does that mean to be owned? What does it mean to give over & entrust control to this other person? I mean in the present day no one can truly own another person so what does this really mean?
She/he could always just walk away from the entire situation…and I think that’s where the meaning & beauty lie. The submissive chooses their owner every single day and every single moment. Unlike enforced slavery this ownership runs far deeper because it’s an ownership of mind and eventually soul. It’s willfully giving all that you are into something else. Maybe something larger. I don’t know.
But I do know that this ownership runs deeper than cuffs or collars. That’s it’s stronger than any leash, rope or chain. That it all rests on the words and will of these two people who speak from opposite ends of the word…
