Just a minor chuckle I wanted to share.
Recently, I was on one of the local beaches on an unusually hot day with a few friends, and I was a bit partied out (had a few drinks before the beach, and the heat was REALLY kicking my ass), so I decided to just relax on a beach towel under an umbrella.
At any rate, I just kinda passed out, and was unaware that the sun had shifted (big DUH on my part), and I was starting to tan.. or to COOK would be more precise.
I don't know how long I 'd lain there, but I was SCORCHING!
I jumped off of the blanket and ran FULL SPEED into the water and just sort of dived in.. well, tumbled in would be more precise.
When I left the water, there was a young girl, her mom , and her mom's friend,
All of them giving me a really curious look.
I immediately thought I'd lost my swimming trunks- which, to my relief, I hadn't.
The little girl looked up into my eyes and said "Mommy and Jeni said you're really hot."
which kind of made the two women blush (well, they WERE acting sort of bashful).
The little girl continued, VERY Matter of factly-"I told them you HAD to be- that's why you ran into the water!"
We all got a Laugh out of that...
...and I got Jeni's phone number.
Ya just GOTTA love that kid!
