So, today i was in NYC's Subway in Manhattan and there came a most energetic, happy couple with loads of laughter walking together hand in hand. One tall blonde with a grey overcoat and the other more demure, black hair, black trench.... I could not help but notice how much pep in their step....how they almost "skipped" along their way oblivious of the world around them. The other seemingly being lead along the way while the taller male skipped ahead and then it happened....i lurked behind and witnessed it....what i noticed today i thought was passe....the nasty stares, the jeers and actual pointing because 2 men dare walk together and show their love.... The AUDACITY!! In NYC in the 21st Century....REALLY? Then my mind went to the Hallmark Channel which refused to show 2 women kissing in a commercial.....we are doing an about face in the USA on just about everything and it makes me sad....
