Due to complete frustration trying to troubleshoot windows... and inability to find a reasonably quick fix, I've just spent 9 hours uninstalling software, preparing for the Big Bang II(ie: reformatting)
I figgure an hour or so reinstalling, another few for updates, then reinstllation of software.
I truly know the pain of the reformat, and, while working tech support, made the full effort to avoid it.
