Has The Alpha/beta Male Stuff Gone Too Far?

I started wondering when the rise of hacking one’s sleep, diet, workout, habits, et al began.
Did it grow from or into the mythical Alpha hysteria?

I sense this is a deeper level. People wanting to change biology, almost.

I think women and men seem to do it more now, because we have easy access to information and technology.

Also, social media allows us to know somebody is doing it. Before, we didn't know who was doing it. When we see videos on YouTube about it, for instance, we become more likely to get curious and try it ourselves. Both men and us, women.

So, exposure has a lot to do with it.
