Hi, I'd like to preface this by saying i'm pretty insecure about my size in general so this is really wracking my nerves.

I'm prescribed methylphenidate and when I take it it's very obvious when it's in my system as it shrinks my flaccid, makes it difficult to gain and maintain an erection and also makes orgasms feel almost like im peeing at the same time. It's been a month or two with me taking the meds on and off, and I haven't noticed any change to my normal size off the medication but I keep wondering if one day it just won't get back to the usual size.

Has anyone taken these meds for an extended period of time, how long and did it have a permanent effect on your penis?

If the medication is helping with the ADHD then I would explore the goon/bate/edge culture. I'm being serious. Between my anxiety meds and my blood pressure meds I was having some sexual side effects. The within the bator community, it doesnt matter if you are soft or hard. If he's prescribed medication he obviously needs it. You wouldn't say to find a way to heal naturally with cancer or a broken arm or an infectious disease. You aren't a trained medical professional and even if you were, you do not know direishot's case

The size decrease is the result of blood vessel contraction, this side effect is common and wears off as the medication wears off. If you are taking the meds as prescribed you will likely have no issues maintaining an erection later in the day. If you are using them as a party drug then you will experience difficulty until the meds are out of you system.

I had the same thing at first, but it went back to normal after a few days. I had it the other way around, where I'd ejaculate before orgasm. I leaned in to it and edged for a couple hours and managed to shoot four times before cumming VERY hard and shooting nothing. The cum was extremely slippery and made fantastic lube.

It's gotten better for me. Proper hydration and eating something filling like oatmeal before i take the medication lets me have mostly the same erection but seems flaccid is remaining smaller :/

I found that taking it really tightens my pelvic floor which certainly impacts it, so I'm gonna try and work on that.
How long have you taken your meds? Does it get back to the usual when you miss a day or two?

Idk I'm a bit lazy about trying other medication. This one is working for me and the problem seems to be getting better but I'll look into it at some point

This is the opposite of my problem with ADHD stims. It takes my libido up a notch so I’m hard/half-hard most of the time. It was so bad that early on I had to talk to my doctor to change meds, which was mortifying since she’s a sweet old lady who did not need that conversation in her life.

I was diagnosed with AuDHD at age 58, and have been on medication ever since. The difference is night and day. For years, even before the diagnosis, I had been lectured about my chaotic life skills, and deluged with tips, strategies, tools and systems to supposedly help. Absolutely no results. And systematizing things inflexibly often made matters worse. After decades of getting performance reviews which said “You’re doing a brilliant job, but you’ve got to work on your time management”, I finally worked out that it would never change without help.
