If regular meetings are planned, then start slow and experiment. With well hung guys, I find using one of the cowboy positions good as you can control the depth he goes and the speed of thrusting. If you're used to plugs, then try one just before you fuck, it will help to get you relaxed.

You mention that both of you are bi, the question about "prep" is do you know his sexual health every time you meet, so its an insurance policy for you if you want raw and to have him cum inside you. Any concerns use a condom

As a virgin bottom, my advice is probably useless. But I’d advise using larger dildos before taking a big cock.
