Andrei dieu - beautiful young handsome adonis

That list is a joke. Half of the people on the DNP list, already have active threads. I’m surprised that the Sam Cushing thread was closed after he was added on the list.

There is this list, but people keep posting content on threads.

LPSG is a big mess;

You may have noticed that Andrei hasn't competed since August 2022, and there are no signs he is preparing for an imminent competition.

I read recently this article about the financial incentives for competing:
Higher financial incentives are needed for bodybuilders to compete
In short, it says that nowadays bodybuilders can earn more on social media than in official competitions, and therefore have few reasons to compete. Andrei has more than 6 million followers on IG, and a lot of sponsors who don't care about athletic results but only want he advertises their products, so he doesn't care to compete.
I think this is bad, because I'd like to watch Andrei in peak shape again, but for him it's easier and more remunerative to post a bunch of enticing photos (not sure how recent) and collect the easy money from the sponsors : unamused:.

For someone like him to compete he'd have to want it. Classic Physique (the division he said he wants to compete in next if he ever does) top prize is 50k at the Olympia. I'm sure he clears that in a couple of months (at least). The financial incentives for competing are never going to match his earnings from social media and sponsorships. He's in pretty good shape year-round. Not as shredded as competition-ready but his muscles are fuller. I'm not mad. If he's happy, great. But wanting more prize money probably isn't the answer to get some of these bigger names to compete. Bumstead only does the Olympia bc he wants to, not bc he needs the prize money. Make the prize respectable. 50k for Classic is really low when the Open is 400k. Those are the two money makers that sell the tickets. But even having a 400k Classic Physique prize wouldn't motivate a ton of additional competitors that aren't already committed. You compete to build your name. And then pivot to the stuff that will make you money for the rest of your career bc you can't compete forever. And if he already has the brand deals, sponsorships, and monetized Youtube videos, what's the point? It's a hard sell.

The point is that at this pace bodybuilding’s competitions are going to become a showroom for newcomers that need to build a name, while the best athletes will stay away from them :sob:.
Andrei placed second at his last competition, and that is not good publicity for his reputation, so he prefers to stay on the safe side and collect the easy money from his sponsors by making countless identical posts and stories, that advertise some crap product :worried:.
I’m not particularly happy when I see an athlete with a high potential who gives up professional competitions in favor of becoming an online representative of some brand. Currently, his IG account is just a boring suite of very similar photos with no real new content, no challenge :( ; I’m considering to unfollow it.

P.S. I don’t believe Andrei really wants to compete in Classic Physique. Bumstead competes because he is sure he is going to win (the lack of real challenge in some IFBB pro league competitions is another problem).

What do you think of the size’s progression of Andrei Deiu from 2016 to 2022?

Obviously he is not a natural athlete, but my perplexity is about how much big a competitor in the Men’s Physique category should be. Since there are other categories for more jacked athletes, it’s not clear why NPC allows so large weight limits for Men’s Physique competitors. Considering that they perform a limited set of poses of stage, more similar to a fitness model’s beauty pageant than to a bodybuilding contest, I don’t see the necessity to be so ripped. And I find quite disappointing that they wear board shorts. What’s the problem with showing the thighs in Men’s Physique? :confused:
After all, as Andrei proves, they train legs as well.
To bad he’s not natty and I hope it doesn’t catch him to him since competitors do die die young urs so sad
