Meniscus.....you possibly do remember this one. Here's another bad 80s film:

It was a film that was suppose to sell that mythicism and fantasy genre that was the rage back in 1983-1986. It was called Troll. Starring Noah Hathaway...

I didn't see Troll, but I remember Noah from the original "Battlestar Gallactica," as Atreyu in The Neverending Story, and from various guest-star roles he played on '80s sitcomes.

Oh my gods, I just looked him up on imdb.com. His character in Troll was named Harry Potter, Jr. I think that's a really funny coincidence.

Guess what? They're making another Troll movie and Noah is going to be in it. It's in pre-production now and is supposed to come out in 2009.

Back to Noah, there are tons of pics available of him from 80s teen magazines, which seems kind of strange to me considering he never really had much of an acting career. But what really gets me is that he's usually wearing incredibly tight short-shorts showing his 14 year old bulge. I assume he must have had a manager, agent, and/or image consultant working for him when he poses for those sort of photos, so I wonder if they were a bunch of pedophiles exploiting the poor boy.

Yes, he still looks good today. He's covered in tattoos, however, which is a look I've never cared for. (A few strategically places tattoos can be sexy, but having your entire arms covered in them? No.)

Yes, atreyu, he really didn't like the Hollywood scene/mentality and didn't do anything after 16 candles.

I saw him on a VH1 "Where are they now?" kind of show. He is a self-employed carpenter/contractor.

At the time, I liked the kid in Summer School who was working nights as a male stripper. Beastmaster was the closest thing to gay porn I could get in the 80s. (Well, that and watching the Chippendales dancers on daytime talk shows. And the Undergear catalogue.)

If I remember correctly, the kid in Summer School that was working nights as a male stripper was Ken Olandt. He was on the short lived tv series "Supercarrier", as it came out around the same time that "Top Gun" was still popular. I remember that there were a few occasions on the show, when Olandt and the other guys on the show, are on liberty and wearing civilian clothes, that Olandt showed quite a bulge in the jeans he was wearing. I still wish at times that I would have had a vcr so I could have taped the series.
