Mighty_Joe: Years ago there was an annual gay convention held at the San Carlos Hotel in Pensacola, Florida. People from all over would come for several days of fun and fellowship including drag shows held right at the hotel ballroom. I remember seeing the desk clerk advising an older couple trying to check in, that there was a large homosexual clientel staying there and perhaps they would feel better staying somewhere else! Maybe some of you were there or heard of it? Those were the days!
