It discourages guys who want to test the waters without fully committing to signing up with any site. It also creates sites with the same set of guys posting every day and less engagement. If bro gets horny and wants to post a quick pic, going through the verification is a lot of work, takes time, and he'll just find another site that has less sign up/posting restrictions like exxxposem or chatpic
that said, I do respect sites with verification in them and I understand the purpose. often for me, the user-experience determines if I return or not
