I was wondering if any of you gals have ever been offered money for sex and how did that go? Anyone ever done this sort of thing over a longer period of time?
I understand this can be a touchy subject, so feel free to pm me if you like and we can share experiences.

No.

Although more than one partner said I could charge big money for my skills. ("new favorite thing!")

Wow, I call that a nice compliment. I would have a top with that line printed on there. ;)

Um, yes. And I’ve never been more insulted in my life. I’m not a prostitute. In my case, it was based on my race, and that it was assumed that because I was young, I was a slut and would take money for sex.

I was also offered a job as an escort, but again - no. Dating for money and sleeping with filthy old men was a pretty unappealing offer.

I've turned down money for sex more than once in my life.

Offering money to someone who is not a sex worker for sex work is insulting and people who do it should fucking Stop.

I support sex workers and want prostitution to be legalized and properly regulated, but I myself am not a sex worker. So when random guys have offered to pay me for sex in the past I was not flattered or at all turned on by it.

I can see how it can be insulting, but on the other hand I think it is a nice compliment when it is done like lurker23 said.

I have been offered money.. but I never accepted it. No disrespect to anyone who does get paid that way (hopefully they get treated well) but, I would feel dirty if I did. I got "paid" in other means though :) (beer)

I mean... I did paid adult cam work for a while, so sort of. That was done from the safety of my bedroom, though. I got paid for anything from just letting one of my clients ogle my legs and ass... to most who would want to watch me masturbate. My clients liked the variety of toys I had.

That was work, though. In any other scenario I would be pretty insulted.

It’s never a compliment. It’s commodifying a human being.

Every time I was offered money (or drugs) in exchange for something sexual, it was either racism, sexism, socio-economic elitism, or some combination as the motivator to treat me like a thing instead of a woman. This is never complementary, and once, though the offer was serious, it was specifically meant to publicly humiliate me. Every instance was degrading.

There is nothing wrong with selling anything that is yours. There is nothing wrong with buying whatever is for sale, if it is purchased ethically from the one with the right to sell.

I’ve been offered money for sex on dating apps (not recently). I don’t know if they were legitimate offers. One definitely could not have been legitimate because he kept increasing the offer until it got to like $20K haha.

I’d never take up any monetary offer for sex.

Please read the comment from lurker23. She says her skills were complimented with the quote that she could make a lot of money with it. That is the same as saying: You could make a lot of money with your baking skills.

I am not saying that being offered money directly is a compliment. Geez, people. Reading comprehension.
And even if it was not, you do not get to decide what is a fact. You just have an opinion. That is one of the fundamental problems with society nowadays. Nobody grants the other person a different opinion anymore.

Wow, what a classy remark. It is good to know that you are smart enough to speak for everybody. But then again, your signature line already suggests a certain style of thinking.

So do your posts... that being construed as a prostitute is a “compliment.”

Anyone who provides their body to complete a task for payment is being commodified.

There is a difference between employment using your strength, wits, intellect that you enter into by your own choice versus a nonsexworker getting propositioned.
