Anyone get their frenulum removed as an adult? Any major changes to sensation?

I'm already circumcised high and relatively tight and looking to go in and get a revision to an ultra tight circumcision. My frenulum isnt overly tight right now, but with a tighter cut it may be pulled too tight and need to go. I dont get a ton of sensation from it today, but am wondering if I will miss it. I have heard that with the fren gone, some guys report that theres no "trigger" for orgasm, as they used to rely on the tugging to stimulate an orgasm. I'm worried that even though its not overly sensitive, that removing it may negatively impact sex. I very much enjoy the tight sensation on my circumcision scar, and am wondering if Im actually feeling the tight frenulum which would be gone.

Has anyone had their frenulum removed as an adult? Did you notice any major changes in sensation? Any regrets?

I am uncircumcised and have a frenulum, of course. Several years ago I tore it by accident. I had to go to a Dr. He did not want to repair the tear. He decided to finish clipping it but not remove it. I went along with it. Had I known what I do now I would not have agreed. I really liked how it felt when stimulated. I can still feel sensations in the frenulum but not near as nice. It pulling tight when the foreskin slid back increased the pleasure. It also caused the head of my dick to flare out on the down stroke. Not afterwards. My foreskin hangs longer now. It used to just stop when it totally covered the glans. Now I have a longer overhanging skin. Just the clipping of it made a big change in how my dick feels. I cannot imagine the loss had it been totally removed. At least I still have my foreskin.

I had mine removed the same time I got circumcised (as an adult). Almost 20 years later and it's still very pleasurable; no regrets in having it done.

Sensation changed a lot after the removal but it got better over the years. The scar itself is numb but the area around it is still sensitive just a bit lighter.
No regrets at all since sex was impossible with the short frenulum.

Yes, and sex caused a lot of pain and was impossible without lots of lube.

After three months it was restored, but at a different level.

I was cut around 7 years, ago, to get rid of an autoimmune infection problem. Until I was recovering later, I'd no idea that my frenulum, which had been quite long, had virtually gone. It was never discussed beforehand. Now, I'm really pleased about that. The area where it was is the most sensitive part of my cock. In fact the whole head too is very sensitive when erect. I was expecting it to desensitised, after reading up before the op but that's not happened with me.
