i know sexting is something us guys like because we are more visual, but is sexting and pic/vid/ audio trading something women are into? I would love a partner for that but it seems most girls aren’t interested.

2. Nah, sexting isn't a huge turn on for me. Even when my guy and I didn't live together, I'd rather spend actual time with him than bother with that boring crap. If I can't be with my partner in person, I'd rather just get myself off without visual aid.

I've read too many horror stories. Revenge porn laws are actually a thing now, which just goes to show. No way, no how am I ever going to do that unless I were to trust implicitly. And even then, I'd be dubious because you know how many stories there are of people trusting their partner only for that partner to change completely? Aw hell no. The topic came up at work once, because of a local news story and a douchebag Coworker said “if a woman sends me a picture, I assume I can do whatever I want with it since she GAVE it to me” and started scrolling through an album of various women... showing errrrbody. I. Was. LIVID. So I said “so remember last week when I picked up your lunch and you gave me your credit card?” He said yes. “So if I had stopped at the liquor store on my way back and bought my favorite bottle of bourbon, would you be mad?” He said he would be pissed. “But you GAVE me your credit card.” He muttered that this was totally different because the credit card was provided for a specific purpose. I explained that when women provide sexts, the image is provided to get the recipient off... anything else is without her consent.

Literally never shared anyone’s privately sent photos, and IF they were saved, they are hidden and locked, and deleted when said relationship or chatting stops. It disgusts me that guys will post or share those pics, and I totally understand why women don’t want to share anymore. Too many awful people out there

She actually reminded me of an internet date I had some 15 some odd years ago. First off, to set the stage, he presented as my age, but he turned up 10 years older. Whatever, it's a lie, and that's bad, but the MOST egregious thing was that he showed me pictures of his previous female partner. And it was obvious that he had NO permission to share these photos -- he admitted to it.

And this memory caused me to remember ANOTHER guy, someone that works on the campus at which I work, he showed me nudie pix of his gf asking if I'd join them.

So yea this happens WAY too much.

No, not really. I find sexting boring at best and risky as hell. I don't trust 95% of people with my naughty photos let alone randos on the internet.

I can enjoy sending naughty messages and photos to my husband, lovers and friends though. I know them, have a connection with them and can enjoy the tease. I don't find it arousing at all to sexually communicate with people I don't know.
