Personally, I think this angle tends to be flattering to most people.

You need to be turned enough to be less thick in the waist and show good shape to your butt. The camera angle is important to show this of course. Stomach is hidden by cropping.

I find hole shots gross and too much information. A boy needs some degree of mystery after all lol

Just crop and send the full pic to who you want.

The secret to a good selfie is make it look natural and effortless, even though you probably made a lot of effort (the perfect lighting in that photo isn't an accident). The more it looks like you are trying, the less effective the pic.
