So I currently have 2 ball weights, a small that's just shy of 1/2 pound, and a large that's just shy of a full pound. The small barely fits on, and once my balls started turning purple within a couple minutes, so I immediately took it off. The large is very comfortable, but occasionally a ball will slip out, and then soon after, it comes careening down my pants leg and hits me in the foot.
For my next purchase, I'd like a round one instead of an oblong. I've measured the inside circumference of the 2 weights with a rolled up piece of paper and a marker, then measuring the distance.
The small is 104mm and the large is 128mm. This works out to 33.12mm diameter round for the small, and 40.76mm diameter for the large. What I want is something comfortable, that won't fall off, and won't strangle my balls. Would 38mm be too big? I'd really appreciate someone with more expertise in these matters offering their opinion.
