Im on the Liverpool gay scene but whilst the scene here is small and arguably has more of a community feel than bigger cities I cant visualise/place Rhys in my mind.Then again I am not ubiquitious and many people I know are faces without names ! I have however mainly really only heard positive things about Mikey who I have met briefly a few times, once in The Lisbon.
Not having a go here but not every gay is on the scene. He used to talk about him a lot on TikTok through lockdown
Yes no problem. I'm aware as I have had a number of spells were I haven't gone on the scene for long stretches but I and others have seen Mikey on the scene a number of times but with no sign of a boyfriend. When I saw him he seemed to be with an older female relative perhaps his mum and some older men . Maybe when he's dating seriously he stays off the scene more. I will have to have another nose at his tiktok then to see the handsome Rhys!

Has everyone noticed that when Mikey is at these award events and other cast members have been there - they never get pics together! Like the Pink awards, on Ollie’s insta he’s with all the others from the show but no Mikey and on Mikeys insta it’s all pics on his own.

I chuckled at Ollie & Dans ‘we are still friends, you’ll still see us hanging out together’. Literally won the same award, presumably sat at the same table, with multiple other mates around them as a buffer and yet they clearly avoided each other like the plague. People should just be honest. It didn’t work out, I wish him well. Less of the we are still friends bullshit.
Do you know how much online vitriol they would get if they didn’t say that? As soon as people hint at any kind of acrimony in a breakup the masses jump to the idea that someone was abusive or cheated. Even you here complaining about their statement shows that they can’t win. Just because it’s fresh and they aren’t close right now also doesn’t mean that they’re closing the door to being friends in the future. And on the flipside, if they’d taken pictures together and smiling then everybody would start rumours that they are back together, which they probably want to avoid as well.

I wasn’t complaining either, a mere observation they clearly aren’t the super friendly exes they suggested. Which let’s face it, most breakups aren’t super friendly.
