Best way to ship used underwear?

I’m looking to ship a pair of used underwear to a long-time friend and want the smell in them to be preserved. What’s the best way to do this without the underwear taking on the smell of what it’s packaged with?

Ziplocs are food safe, so there wouldn't be any odor transfer

Make sure that they have dried before sending them. If they are damp, they will smell like mildew vs. you.

The best way is to wear the underwear when you visit your friend. In front of him, remove your clothes, then let him remove the underwear with his teeth.

Obviously that would be optimal but it’s not possible at the moment.
