body features and position of prostate

If a finger is inserted through anus and directed towards the wall of abdomen, one can locate prostate. However, is there any specific relation between body features such as type and shape of pubic region or distance between naval to public region or base of penis to the anus to the location (depth or distance) of prostate through the anus? What is your observation based on self experience? If you are a doctor and have ever done physical prostate examinations, what was your basic observation on the position of prostate from the anus? Can it always be accessed with ones finger? If so, what is best body posture to access it by oneself?

If you imagine you are trying to feel for the back of someone's penis via their rectum, you are pretty close.

It feels like a smooth dome shape in the wall of the rectum.

If you do it yourself, the thumb is in a better orientation to press on it.

I would recommend getting a vibrator with the vibes coming from the tip to practice. You will know you are on the right spot with a vibrator.
