Oh yes, I remember. What a great store, I found many books on actors and about history. Such a huge selection and so many low prices, an incredible store!

It must have been a high end fashion store in it's day. The huge curved stairway is the tell off.

Thank you so much for a great reminiscense. Houston Tx. was the first City I visited in the US. I have been there quite often and had a wonderful time with the Texans. Will never forget my adventures. Gosh, that bar DIFFERENT DRUM with that tree house on the patio, gosh, I may not think of it, a wonder that it didn't collapse....or the bookstores...and I don't mean regular books now...Westheimer and the linne dance lessons at Brazo's, the record stores, the cowboy hats...Gosh, I am dreaming. Thank you Texas and Houston, you made me so happy!

I need to go within the next few weeks. I like the museums, Rice U baseball, the regular book stores, and certain markets. Oooo there is one near the hotel where I stay. It has awesome food. Load up on the food, and eat at night in my room.

Loved spending quiet time in this bright Crested Butte Library. Upstairs for adults.

It is in the old school building.

A wee shop with stacks and boxes of books. Some were boxes of 1 pound. Some were only pence.
