I am hearing regularly in the news during the past several days about the slaying of United Healthcare Insurance CEO Brian Thompson. It may be by a disgruntled insurance customer. I have not seen the
sexual angle discussed. Thompson and wife have been separated for several years.

He seems to have thought the first step of a solution to the problem is to gun down a senior exec of the largest insurer. At least it was not about something super dumb like what he ate that day. People have been killed over much less.

Thank you. I just saw a breaking news report the shooter was never insured with United HealthCare!!! Isn't that the shits. To die at the hands of a cowardly college degreed psycho who wasn't man enough to face him was so wrong.

I mean I get the anger, the US healthcare system is quite dysfunctional and harms a lot of people. The inability to reform anything of value is making people angry so at least he died because of something that is not completely dumb. He was part of that system and profited off of it, so he became a target. Ironically, he was of more humble origin than his killer, which is not how it usually works in the upper circles of corporate America.
