Do you mean a real dating app or a sex app? A lot of guys on true dating apps get turned off by guys that bring up anything sexual (including the top-bottom-vers question) too early so you might be limiting your options unnecessarily. If it’s a sex app, most guys appreciate as much explicit information as possible so they can quickly self-select.

Depends on what you consider dating vs sex app. I use Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, and Scruff. All of which I consider dating apps.

Scruff is more of a hookup app while Tinder, at least in the gay community, is more of a dating app. It’s easy to assume, especially when you’re on boards like this, that gay men are hyper sexual, hookup all the time, and frank about their preferences and proclivities.
