I am also really glad the New Chat is back. I did try to use the Old Chat, but found it a little confusing. I like camming on the New Chat and seeing other cammers, hearing feedback and encouragement. It's super hot and the main reason I come to LSPG. I'm all for an improved New Chat - I think you really DD improve w the New Chat, it's just so slow and buggy. And despite that, I'm happy to see it back and look forward to jumping on soon.

That can't happen as that was flash based and flash was no longer supported years ago

The OLD old chat is long gone. It was flash based we can thank adobe for that

Even though this is true, I think anything with networking like webcam feeds would be as challenging to port to wasm as making a new one from scratch would be.

I'm really glad the team behind LPSG is engaging with this and endeavouring to give us a good video chat site. I use the Dudesnude video chat a lot. That has pretty good functionality and is easy to use. Occasionally it has some cam bugs but in general works well enough.

If LPSG to emulate that video chat, or even improve on it, I think we could get something really thriving given the great community of hot guys we have here. LPSG team, go take a look at the competition if you haven't already.

I think it's a good move to consolidate into one chat. I will share one feature I wish worked in the old chat: blocking. Blocking a user in the room only prevents you from messaging them. You can still see their posts in the general chat room and receive unwanted private messages.

I'm having the same issue. Have tried different browsers, clearing cookies, etc.

I successfully logged into old chat as soon as I saw this. I'm accessing it on my PC with the Microsoft Edge browser. I also tested it with my phone's default web browser and could get old chat to load there too.

Just logged into old and new chars. Both working OK on Edge on Android phone

This is probably already answered, but I’m fairly new to the site but I’m on my iPhone. With the video chat I only see the chat room but I’m not seeing what people are reacting to.

Am I able to see video or anything like that in addition to people chatting? Or is that just for PC users? (Also I don’t have a premium membership so that could also be the case. But idk)

Would be good to have a similar chat set up to that of a swinger site i'm on.You can cam with just cam no sound or both.Also you can have a pm option to interact with who your watching or turn that off too if you just want to cam in peace so to speak.

This is not necessarily a permanent move. We want to see how this older chat does so we can compare and make an educated decision on how to move forward.

We invested heavily in the new chat and it didn't turn out the way we wanted. Our relationship with the developer fell apart and there isn't a way to improve what we have at this time. Based on numerous comments the new chat isn't good enough. It is also very expensive to run and not many users use it. Just to give you an example. 0.33% of all LPSG members use our Chat and it accounts for 10% of our hosting costs.

There are other considerations at play. Omegle chat was forced to shutdown last year. The landscape for adult sites and adult chat is changing rapidly with age verification and moderation being required. As you know the usage of the chat rooms is already really low. Adding age verification would probably turn it into a ghost town.

All that to say we will most likely be forced to make big changes to how our Video Chat works in 2025. We are exploring all options so we make the best decision. If anyone has any recommendations we are all ears.

Thanks for all of your efforts on this. It would be great to have a well functioning chat on the site. I can’t even imagine the challenges you face but I’m impressed that you are taking pragmatic decisions and pressing on. Good luck!

Because of the way the Video chat system works on this site i actually made an unofficial LPSG Discord that was to bridge the gap of what this site offers and its shortcomings. i havent advertised it out much yet becuase i didnt want to spam people but i have that if anyone is interested in joining it. if i get enough reactions or replies to this message ill include the invite link (assuming thats alright with staff)

Hard agree. So tired of having to see the same catfishing people's copy+paste messages over and over
