Chaturbate Community

Some years ago I used Chaturbate largely as a place to engage and interact with men from around the world. While people may have come in hoping for a show, it was largely a forum for discussion and the group conversation often went in interesting directions. I'm grateful to have developed a few lasting friendships from the community that evolved.

Eventually, however, Chaturbate became insistent on wanting to monetize all broadcasters and that ultimately led me to delete my account. The friends I had established relationships with outside the application remain, but I miss that sort of shared community. It was just gay (mostly) guys talking about issues, sharing experiences, offering advice. It was relaxed and fun and I would like to find something similar. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I love some of the convos that exist here on LPSG, but they are all largely topic-focused; I want to find a space that is a bit freewheeling, where the discussion is organic and varies with the day, time, and those engaged.

I suspect I am insufficiently identifying what I seek. Maybe it's the old, "I'll know it when I see it," though in the several years I've been looking now nothing has compared.

you're not going to believe this, but I once helped a Chaturbate model complete his Organic Chemistry 2 lab. It turned from him being naked and jerking off, to him pointing the camera at his lab notebook....for more than an hour and working him through drawing diagrams, mechanisms and formulas.
The even stranger part is that other people kept entering and offering advice too....surprised that CB didn't ban his channel....but those were the wild days.

It's very true. I used to occasionally cam on there and I never even did anything PG13 , I'd like, mostly joke, sometimes a limited form of charades, sometimes other games like Hangman sometimes we'd talk about art or 90s nostalgia, really, anything. I was really grateful for it during times I felt very alone and was in a town where real life socializing was difficult and esp when Covid struck. I never even accepted tokens, it was nice.

Yep, I declined to accept tokens because I didn't want to feel obligated to anyone who thought that by paying the piper they could call the tune. I don't know what Chaterbate earns from the sale/transfer of tokens, but they obviously wanted anyone out who wasn't gonna generate income for them. Frankly, had they just admitted that I would have respected the site more, but they couched it in terms of needing proof of my age. As if I could ever pass as a minor.

I always thought that it would be a great mechanism to find non-US candidates for placement as Personal Care Workers (PCW). Obviously, getting the entire H2-B visa thing set-up would take work.

I've discovered a lot of the people (guys, I never watch gals) camming there are completely average Joe's who either need the money, or enjoy showing off, or both. Guys are also generally quite free about revealing their real names and what they do for a living. (Well, the South Americans, anyways.)

My sister's friend recruits exclusively from Poland, has done that for decades, and has made a lot of money from it.

Finding US Citizens to do 7/24 jobs like this is borderline impossible. I had a non-medical PA for a number of years because of the job I had, it was sheer luck I managed to find someone.

I’d also enjoyed Chaturbate for the same reasons… it was so much fun to meet guys from around the world. I’d often do my shows in the kitchen while I prepared meals, and I’d get lots of great cooking pointers!

More recently I switched to Stripchat which I like better. They have a non-sexual option you can broadcast on - I think it’s called flirting mode. Shirtless or underwear is ok but not nudity in flirting mode. I’ve had some fun conversations there.

I watch Chaturbate for transgender women and have one favorite but have yet to pay which is pretty much what they are there for. I most likely will Suck-Cum to the pressure because I think she's a doll!
