Honestly, for me a beer belly is a definite no. Not just because it's a turn-off but because it's a clear indicator that a person isn't taking care of their body.
I've seen where it leads and I'd like no part of that.

But, in his case, it's more the typical problem that alcoholic drinks have many times have a high sugar content & calorie count. That's why fat starts to show up around the belly first.
