Ian said fairly recently on a podcast that he cheated, but they also mentioned that Ian is pretty mature in personality and Chris's more juvenile personality was sometimes getting on his nerves...
apparently, Ian admitted it on a podcast. I don't remember the name of the podcast though.
Pretty shitty considering Chris had deal with the nude images that came out without his consent and the SA story along with it. People who are bubbly in personality might use that as a barrier to hide their real self and their trauma, so for Ian to call Chris immature, the REAL immature individual was Ian for not stepping up and communicating with Chris about their relationship and what needed to change.
