Like I said, you're entitled to your opinion, and I'm not the one lecturing here. I'm simply expressing that I would prefer if someone refrains from lecturing me on this topic, Asian or not.You
You LITERALLY said he has a fetish for Asian people which is the objectification and non humanization of people. Also you don't need to lecture me seeing as I'm asian as well -_-
Also, I mentioned that he MIGHT have done this, which is based on my own lived experience and the use of "might" shows that I'm being careful with my words. I find it odd to idolize strangers online and get all defensive at the slightest doubt (I'm not implying you are). Exercising caution when discussing the objectification of a group of people — which isn't mutually exclusive to giving people the benefit of the doubt — wouldn't harm anyone.
By your logic, it seems that the next time I see someone falling into this kind of behavior, I wouldn't be allowed to say something and would need to "keep up," which defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it? Most people don't want to be the target of fetishization, and all I'm saying is you might want to be cautious here.
I get that you think "fetish" is a loaded term that shouldn't be thrown around lightly, but I believe there might be a better way to express that opinion.
