Circumcised in mid 60s

Hi all. Does anyone have an answer for this please?

Due to an autoimmune infection, I was circumcised a few years ago. Before then, my cock was 7.5 x around 5. The length was to the top of the head, not the foreskin.

After the swelling had all gone down, I was surprised that my cock had changed shape! It now measured 6.2 x still 5 near the head but increasing to almost 8 around the base. Almost like a cone shape. On this site, if you look at Drake Von's cock, you'll get the idea but mines now shorter!

No-one seems to be able to explain why I've gained so much around the base and worse, list nearly 1.5 inches in length.

I don't think it's age related, as it was one shape before the op and another soon after.

Purely a guess here but depending on how much skin was removed, your remaining shaft skin can be as loose to tighter to much tighter/stretched when you are fully erect. If the skin is much tighter then the skin around the base will be pulled/stretched from the torso. The shaft skin would effectively be pulled out at the base, like a parachute, making your base wider to much-wider. A tight shaft would also explain some lost length.
In my case, my shaft skin became quite tight as I got older (I guess I wasn't using it enough). I did 'foresking restoration' exercises & grew new shaft skin which loosened the shaft up a lot & made erections much more comfortable, I also re-gained (coincidentally) an 1.5" of length I had lost over the years. In my case my tight shaft was limiting how long my penis was able to get when erect. Perhaps this is similar to what you are experiencing. Let me add for clarity - I did not regain a foreskin, I stopped before that point, simply loosening my erect shaft. Others have kept going to the point they effectively create a foreskin, but one doesn't need to go that far if one doesn't desire to.

Thanks for that. Really informative! I'm not sure it's where I'm at though. Although pretty bulky in the shaft, the skin isn't particularly tight. In fact, after the op, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't more high and tight. In my case, it's almost as though my internal cock tissue has been squeezed in towards the base, taking some length with it! Probably impossible I know but that's what it seems like. It's much more noticeable hard. When soft, it's reasonably thick all the way along the shaft.
