Condom broke during topping

So the condom broke towards the end of topping a 22 year old casual hookup from Grindr. I immediately pulled out and just put a new condom on. He said he got STI screened last week and was negative. But I know that if he was exposed 6 weeks prior to HIV he could be positive etc etc Both of us are not on PREP due to side effects. Its been more than 72 hours so PEP wont work.

Has anyone else been in this boat? What did you do? What happened? I cant sleep...

Hey man sorry that this happened to you, I haven’t been in this situation but if it’s playing on your mind I would definitely go see your GP or a sexual health nurse ASAP. Regular screening for the next couple of months is a must.

The chances are that you’ll be fine but do speak to a healthcare professional and don’t be embarrassed they have seen and heard it all before (and much much worse!)

It happened almost every time we had an intercourse, mostly during anal sex. I would immediately come to a full stop, pull it out, wash, then put a new condom on as well, and again, lots of lub to have the next one last as long as possible.

What happened? Nothing happened. Both me and my chick were fine. We had no diseases, but I particularly didn't want my cock unprotected that deep into her intestines, and vice-versa. Even without any disease to be worried about, there were always risks of bringing something from the outside into her guts by accident. Twice, the part of the condom which snapped got stuck in there and had to wait until she pop it out with her next meal. She said it was not a pleasant experience.
