What he meant was that no one can give your life meaning; it’s something we create for ourselves through existence, or, in other words, our actions.
We create meaning through doing. Not waiting for a sign or an opportunity or for someone else to open a door, but going out in the world and actively finding out who we really are.
And it doesn’t matter what you do – nothing predefines us – just as long as you live true to yourself and help others do the same.
The satisfaction of finding meaning in your personal or professional life will see anxieties fall away and confidence grow.
