I was sitting in my car waiting for McDonald's breakfast.. here when it's busy they have you pull into a reserved space to wait for your order so the line doesn't get backed up into the street, which I'm sure is how a lot of McDonald's operate. As I was waiting some crack-ass man walked up to my open window (I prefer not to sit idling with the engine running for the AC so I opened my window) and told me verbatim "I was about to ask you for a blow job". I told him to get the fuck away from me. He did. But I watched him walk into the McDonald's so I got out and told an employee who was emptying outside trashes what he said and to make sure the employees and other customers are safe.

Last month I was at work and one of *my* customers told me "you know I could make you a lot more money and keep you safe honey." And winked. He was trying to offer pimp services. I'm like fool, I'll put YOU on the corner and you'll fucking bring ME money asshole.

Random men who don't even know my name say the most insanely inappropriate shit to me. To my face. Forget online harassment, fuckers will be directly in front of me, look me straight in the eyes and tell me things like "you look like you'd be a great porn actress".

I have this nagging suspicion that I'm not the only one with similar experiences. 🤔😑

Wow! That is so fucking weird. You had better keep some pepper spray near by!

Oh, I'm always prepared.

And that crackhead yesterday, I could have broken his jaw. I'm confident that he walked away as soon as I told him to fuck off because he didn't have a weapon. I wouldn't even have needed to use anything to defend myself with that creep. But just in case some capable piece of shit wants to fuck around I'll let em find out.

I'm not one to hesitate either. Fuck that.

Yep, I agree...always be aware of your surrounding and be prepared!

My partner has told me that she has been flashed on a number of occasions

I believe you. My partner has significant training in the martial arts. And women who are trained will beat men, and rather easily.

One day she came home, rather upset. Asked her what happened and she explained that she was flashed. And unfortunately for that poor slob, it was his unlucky day. Because he didn't get response that he was expecting....a knee to the groin and a sharp elbow to the chin.

My partner was flashed one to many times and had enough. And it was over as quickly as it started.

I know it's not a popular sentiment, but I always carry.

Wait! I thought you were a liberal. I am, but I'm not stupid. A 250 lb man is almost double my size. My little .380 is a great equalizer.

Flash me, and I'm aiming a bit further South than the heart.

I have no issue with people who carry firearms. If you haven't done so already, you do need to develop your hand skills. We get people of all ages coming in to getting trained.

If you get jumped (the most likely way of getting assaulted) then a firearm will not matter very much.

My woman can throw hands and grapple very effectively and it saved her once before. I strongly encourage that all of the ladies go and get trained.

Being a grappler myself, I couldn’t agree with this statement more.

My fella is a veteran and he taught me a decent amount about hand to had combat situations.

That crackhead is really smart for leaving when I told him to.
Exactly T&J, defense against an unprovoked attacked can be devastating. I taught my sister a couple of throws and watched her launch her boyfriend into orbit because he thought it was a joke.

I found Mac Donalds to be a magnet of strange situations I found a guy on the urinal standing like 3 feet away from the urinal junk out and not peeing. I let the employees know if this scum was fishing for underage.

I must recognize that some phrases may sounded good on my brain and were odd when said but those phrases are concentrated rotten crap. They are shooting at their feet or asking for Ellie to help them with that.

As tempting as is sound i wouldn't advice firearms just because the results may be permanent and on that case would face a legal process (for making the world better)

I have never had to defend myself with my handgun. I've gone through three self defense courses when I lived in Atlanta. I probably need to have a recheck, but I feel pretty capable of handling myself in most situations.

First rule of self defense for women: there are no rules. There is no such thing as a fair fight. Fight dirty and fight hard. As they told me fight like your the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's ark and it's starting to rain.

2 perceptions i have of you—-you’re sensual—-and you’re kind—-and you don’t give off ice princess stay the fk away from me vibes

So—Aholes think they can approach you.

But—-they have -0- right to —-and—-they’re too stupid and unaware to perceive more about you.

I’m sorry that crap happens. I appreciate you. I applaud your response. Consider yourself hugged. (After asking permission)

Oh I definitely have a FUCK OFF DON'T APPROACH ME vibe in person, and sometimes here. You're just not one who provokes that reaction from me.

I'm only kind to people who deserve kindness. I'm dismissive of 90% of human kind.. and the only reason I go out of my way to not be a negative impact on others generally is because I have self respect/worth. Even if most people are shit I don't have to be that ass well.

I'm a 59 year old gay man, and Hon... let me assure you that this applies to ALL men: 1. When they can't get positive attention they'll settle for negative. 2. They'll continue to pester for sex because 99 times the other person will say no...but there's always the possibility that the 100th time they'll say "yes."

I'm lucky enough to have known more than one man who understands how to truly accept rejection.. But I'm not going to pretend that there isn't a problematic amount of guys who can't/won't.
