My dad died 2 years ago, at the age of 83. Clearing some of his stuff out we found a couple of old Polaroid photos my mum must have taken back in the 70s or 80s.
I always assumed my dad was bigger than that. He looked about 5 inches hard. Perhaps I assumed he was bigger because as a kid I'd seen him naked, and everything looks big to a kid. And also, because I assumed I'd got my size from him.
Saying that, my mum was really small. If my dad had been hung, there could have been real issues.
