Not sure why Mariana died. There was a vid of her shortly before the announcement of her death where she looked in a terrible state, compared to her prime. Could it have been cancer or HIV? Who knows? Either way, she did not look healthy shortly before her death.
Sophie's death was a tragedy. Despite the outward appearances with her partner, Damian Oliver, seems like there was a lot of abuse between them. Oddly enough, Damian died a few months before she did, and supposedly in a roadside/motorway hotel from a suspected drug overdose. Sophie did an interview once where she said she was trafficked from a very young age. Terrible shame.

Yea… I do remember reading about him being in and out of jail. I believe I read he attacked an elderly man.
