Both my parents were very blunt about having “the talk”... My father from a males perspective (very raw in his delivery) and my mother from a woman’s perspective.(more subdued but to the point)

My first porn, my father watched with me an explained to me what I saw...Porn laid the foundation on what having sex was,but how to please and pleasure a woman came from asking him questions ... One thing he always said (relative to porn) “what u see isn’t always what u get” and “Don’t believe or do everything you see”

My foster dad did’t say much about sex until after I turned 18. I think he knew I was gay. The gym coach from school had to call and tell him I was getting picked on because I got hard in the locker room and I stopped showering. He made sure my older foster bros and coach looked out for me and made sure the other guys quite harassing me but never talked to me directly. He let me stay on after I turned 18 and started taking to the Y. I loved being in the adult men’s locker room with him and his buddies they put muscle on me and made sure I didn’t feel bad about my big erect cock. There were lots of dark corners steam rooms and saunas in that old locker room were I got a great education.
That's amazing and you were so lucky cos many young guys do get really picked on at school before they are even really aware about their sexuality. Was it an accident going to the Y or did he do it because he new you would get an "education"

Oh we was totally setting me up to get some ass and such cock. He told me later the he couldn’t wait for me to turn 18 and to show me off to his gym buddies.

There is no point on this question since no experience before 18 years old can be commended here. But if you didn’t figured out by then or your dad told you anyway you are probably living on some kind of Truman show “American pie” style

Lord, no! The only sex talk I remember with my Dad was when he thought I was sexually active, and he pulled me aside and told me that I shouldn't get the girl pregnant. We weren't having sex, despite my best efforts. That and a few dirty jokes were the sum of "the talk" with Dad.

Nope, nor I with my sons who are all married and have kids. I knew I should have but regrettably couldn’t bring myself to talk to them. Other than the basic discussions about respect and pregnancy at too young of an age, never talked to them about masturbation, sex acts, etc. Figured that like me, a friend with an older brother would bring them up to speed on what a blow job is, what eating pussy really means, etc, etc.

Never. In fact neither of my parents ever brought it up.

I was in high school between 1968-1972. That was a LONG time ago and I think, can't quite remember, that we covered human reproduction in biology class. In fact, we may have had an introduction to the subject in 5th or 6th grade - don't really recall.

Most of my knowledge was gained through friends and self-exploration. I started masturbating not because I had young friends who talked about it but because I discovered how good it felt to touch myself while wearing tighty whities. I have no idea why or how but I used to get on my knees, put my chest on the floor, and rub my cock with one hand and finger my ass hole with a finger of the other - all while wearing my underwear.

Once I started dating girls, things just seemed to come naturally. Yes, boys would talk about feeling-up girls and occasionally getting to third base, but I had never seen a "live" pussy until I was 17. One of the first girls I dated was somewhat "fast" (probably from previous experience?) and she was really into breast play.

Everything else was learned through experience with my girlfriend who became my wife.

. . . . I was in high school between 1968-1972. That was a LONG time ago and I think, can't quite remember, that we covered human reproduction in biology class. In fact, we may have had an introduction to the subject in 5th or 6th grade - don't really recall . . . .
I am High School Class of 69, so just a couple years older. Attended urban public schools in the U.S. midwest. (Parochial and private schools, and regions of the country, probably affect the experiences of people in our generation.)

In 7th grade there was an introduction to the process of physiological development (boys get whiskers; girls get boobs; etc) and the biology of human reproduction. I recall they put emphasis on how the sperm fertilizes an egg to make a baby, but almost nothing about how the sperm gets to the egg. The unit lasted 4 - 5 classroom hours, and there was a printed booklet we were supposed to discuss with our parents. I think my parents leafed through the booklet, asked if I had any questions about it, and changed the subject.

One major point related to "venereal diseases", or "VD". That's the name we used to have for "STD's". They emphasized that VD was not a big deal. It was certainly no worse than strep throat, if you got prompt medical treatment - a round of common antibiotics would cure it. We now know that idea is a crock of crap!

In 10th or 11th grade there was a unit of 10 classroom hours or more, covering a bunch of stuff related to "being an adult". It had some creative, cutesy name that I don't recall. Topics included diet and nutrition; exercise; credit cards, loans, and banks; smoking, drugs, and alcohol; legal obligations of adults; etc. They spent a little time on sexuality when they talked about families and lifestyles. Nothing specific about sexual technique or practices but an emphasis on how both parents have an obligation for the physical and mental well-being of a child they create. Contraception was briefly mentioned, but few details on types of contraception, effectiveness, or how to get it.

My dad never said anything until I got engaged. Understand that he was basically an absentee father until I was 20 yo. He had visitation every other weekend until I was 16. Nothing was ever said during those visits. We worked at the same place, in the same department. One day after work, after I announced that I was engaged he approached me about showering. The showers, at work were gang showers. I said yes because I wanted to see him nude. I had observed his bulge many times over the years. I had read Masters and Johnson's report as well as the Kensey Report so I was aware that I was quite a bit above average in size. During the shower I observed that out flaccid size was quite similar. Of course I also knew that flaccid size was no definite indication of erect size, but this opportunity gave me a general idea, or so I thought at that time. At that time my erect size was just over 8 inches and quite thick. Made the comment as we were getting dressed, "Be sure to try on the shoes before you buy them." I asked for a clarification. He told that I should make sure that my fiance and I fit properly before we got married. BYW my bride was a virgin on our wedding night. I had informed myself knowing that I was going to find it necessary to be careful, and introduce my cock to her gently. I was very successful in that task. We were married over 35 years, and had a very active, enjoyable sex live. She climaxed nearly every time we had sex. That was something of which I prided myself. We were very happy, and very compatible. She passed away at the age of 56 yo. I have been a widow now for 26 years.

Never had any sort of conversation about this topic with either of my parents, thank god. Though my cousin is two years younger than me and had no male figure in his life, so he came to me with questions since we were like best friends/family.
