DIY Glory Holes for Home or Travel

Wondering if anyone here has made their own glory holes for home or even travel? If so, what were some things you found you did well and what were they? And for flip side, what were some mistakes made?

I’m interested in making one and have done some research but what better than folks who’ve done it already.

There's a company that manufactures portable glory holes. Basically, they are heavy-duty canvas stretched between two spring tension rods (like the ones used for shower curtains). There is an appropriately placed hole with a "privacy" flap.

Canvas comes in many colors and it's cheap. The rods are not expensive. It would require some sewing.
