Correct, I do not believe the percentages because they are not from a reputable source. A proper scientific study (social science) would be enough to convince me.

Anyone on the internet can pull figures out of their ass and claim it's true, I don't see how that's so difficult to understand.

All the numbers were figured out through interviews, hospital admittance, ministries of health and security (in different countries) NoBody made those numbers up! WHY? they have discrimination against prostitutes???

what's the logic behind all of this??

Could you just skim through it, just noticing the citation at the end of each paragraph and tell me these are not valid sources?!

Is it just because it shows high percentages of rape and abuse >>> not a reputable source!

look, I tried to show you how so many prostitutes have been subjected to child sexual abuse (You can search that on your own and prove me wrong if you want!) Many prostitutes are subjected "regularly" to abuse by both the pimps and the clients. The majority of the prostitutes work under pimps, not free lancers (please search it!)
Look...I really don't wanna repeat everything, If you JUST don't want to believe what I shared, I really cannot help it, But remember, someday somebody tried to open your eyes on something that occurs in this world that maybe, it deserves you search it on your own, if you are interested!
There is nothing for me to gain here!
Do you have difficulty understanding English? It is because it puts prostition in a box of purely negative things and stereotyping. Which to me is so biased that it's along the lines of propaganda. All you need to read is the definition of prostituon and it's clear as day that the article is not impartial.

I can probably guarantee that I've done more research on such women's issues than you have. But what probably sets us apart is that I don't believe everything I read.

I'm tired of you so won't be responding anymore.

I was thinking the same thing. I use it very liberally.

I don't. I've got 1 person on my list right now. Very close to being 2.
Oh perhaps that was the wrong word then? I think I meant conservatively lol. Yes, that's the word. I don't think I have anyone on ignore... it would be 1, if that.

OMG, let's not make all prostitutes out as poor unfortunate single mothers who society has deprived of an education and job opportunities and they have no choice but to sell their bodies against their will to survive
Most high class escorts and your typical streetwalker are in it because it's easy money with zero responsibility.
I dont know if i agree on the typical streetwalker part, but i'll support @nailz position here on the escort thing... I know of a few trainers & models and even a professor who were a high dollar prostitutes because they could make more money in one day than they did all week in a regular job... without paying taxes!

That said, I also know of a girl who was a stripper and nude model who thought she was ok with selling herself... and she had a breakdown after her first day of work as a prostitute. She was clearly ok with using her body and looks for money, but it was a different story (for her) when she took money for sex.

By the way, You just put it in a way that "YOU" choose! but actually, the clients are the ones who decide! You offer, they search for what they are looking for, if your offer matches, they CHOOSE you! have you ever refused a client who just wants only what you exactly offer?

please stop stripping away the agency of women who choose sex work
you are laying your puritanical and quite sexist thought process all over this thread
Fade made herself available, Fade accept her clientele, Fade set the price, the limits, and terms
at every turn she was the one in control of the situation.

you are caught up with the idea of the pimped out victim of sex trafficking
while this, unfortunately, exists the reality of prostitution's continued legal status is the prime cause of exploitation.

i repeat you are a very obnoxious person
there are personality failings you should be working on rather than wasting time on LPSG

Can I understand why?? I mean this isn't what you explained earlier??

You're continuing to interpret things how you want to. I explained things entirely accurately earlier. I said I advertised my specialties. I also said I chose my clients. If someone wanted my attention, liked me, whatever, it didn't mean I would like them or how they behaved. It's extremely fucking simple.

Don't forget the whole consenting, informed adults having sex with each other is "mutual exploitation"

"this is your own body (I might have used "pussy" iso body, but just out of respect i didn't!) we are talking about! Women's body is something "precious" and very "special"; treating it as a "tool" that can be used to perform a "service"?! Although I am a man, but sorry, I cannot look at women with such a disrespect! Your body is so valuable, and should be dealt with as "priceless", that only a TRUE man that will treat you with full respect should be allowed even to "touch" it, and you can even further read about what a religion like Islam dictates that no man is even allowed to "SEE" any part of your body except your husband!! (Christianity and Judaism also have lots of teachings about modesty that roots to the same ideology of respecting women's bodies!)"

@SSS79 if you don't think ^this^ screams: "I know what women should think of their bodies and if you don't agree you don't respect yourself" then I can't help you. Your long winded excuse in the other thread you just posted for this kind of attitude changes nothing of my views. You're not as open minded as you think you are.

ETA: just so you know, the bits about the religious stuff means absolutely nothing to me. Religious texts are basically fairy tales to me.

Quoted for some serious fucking truth. Sheesh.

It's like this entire thread was some weird click bait bullshit. What do you think about sex work? OMG sex work is bad and women should be ashamed of being sex positive and aren't worthy of respect.

Can you please "calmly" explain to me how you managed to perceive my post here as a "scream" that "I KNOW....and if you don't agree you don't respect yourself"?!!

When I say: "Women's body is something precious and very special...." This is how I view women's body: simply my view! just expressing it! Not imposing on anybody anything! and related to the religious views, as I explained, as one of the "inputs" that might have helped in forming my own view! and that this view does EXIST, i am not one of a kind!

Being open minded means accepting other views do exist and we can co-live together without one of us forcing others to accept his own! But Does expressing different views or debating them is against being open-minded??

I'm sure he doesn't even realize it's also super judgmental towards those paying for the service.

Just because someone pays for sex doesn't mean they're abusing and exploiting the person providing the service.

I never SAID, nor IMPLIED in ANYWAY what you are saying here!! PLEASE STOP THIS UNJUSTIFIABLE ATTACK!!

sex work is totally different than being sex-positive! ALL i was saying is most of the sex workers do SUFFER! I sympathize with their sufferings! Women's body is special and valuable that it shouldn't be CHEAP or treated as a tool for service! I never mentioned anything about disrespect of SEX or SEXUAL BEHAVIOR or women being ASHAMED of anything!!! I said I cannot disrespect a woman by simply buying her body for some money! My attitude. My view!

You flat out said shit is mutual exploitation if two (or more) consenting, informed adults are fucking. That is anti sex-positive as heck.
