Do you challenge folks that stare?

First off, kudos to you all who have the courage in today's society to go out and "be yourself"!

I have a good friend who changed - and, unfortunately, I always felt totally self-conscious going out with her. Inevitably getting stared at, but that is where I found that Trans-folk have such courage - she to this day could give a shit what anyone else thinks. =)

Anyway - just wondering what your method for dealing with the stare-ers is?

Its funny ive been asked this many times for me personally i used to hide myself which made people stare more.
I taught myself a little trick i look at people who look at me and smile it appears a smile can disarm even the person who has no intention of questioning they see a happy person and they carry on with their day
Thats my method anyway
