Do you consider yourself attractive? How did you get to that conclusion, based on your own perception or based on how other people tell/behave around you?

Yes totally, always have been fit & attractive, example if i walk in to a room the men including the women start flirting with me especially then women, lots of eye contact, smiling etc, i am used to it, i do it back too but honestly have little interest in women, when i have a date which i avoid at all costs because i don't like the needy types that i seem to attract. I always get that crap about, fuck you're so sexy looking bla bla bla or you don't look like the type to be such a slut etc. As for life it gives you many opportunities, manly success, i do take it a little for granted & my official mensa iq classification score is 184 that helps me too. If i go out cruising i always get men following me around until i give them sex.

I was a very intelligent and popular kid through childhood, but I was a bit of an ugly duckling. By late high school years, I “bloomed” into the guy the popular cheerleaders wanted to date. Fortunately, I soon discovered that I was gay, and have led a charmed life with all the joys and troubles you describe @barehole4use

I suppose I'm ok. However I get pretty insecure about my looks sometimes to the point where it stops me from approaching women (or even guys for that matter) to pursue a casual one night stand.

EDIT (since there's apparently 5 minute limit on editing a comment for whatever reason): a couple girls in high school said I was cute but I didn't take them seriously so nothing ever came of that. At the time I was barely 5 feet tall, maybe 90-100 pounds soaking wet, and often had terrible acne. What the hell girl would want that? That was my line of thinking. Fast forward to today (I just turned 43): sometimes I still wanna be taller (I'm only 5'4", pretty short for a guy), hotter, have a broader frame body type, and of course a bigger cock.

No I don't based on both comments and expectations from others and my own impressions.of what I should look like.

I've always considered myself decent but unexceptional, and never really liked seeing myself in photos - in part because I'm not good at faking a smile or pose. Even with my own pics that I've posted here, there are far more on the cutting room floor than in my albums, and I've been pleasantly surprised at the feedback I get.

I suppose it's a bit of a motivation in some things, like working out (which I do to keep in shape) and shaving/trimming my body hair (which I do just because I like it). But ultimately appearance is superficial for me, so when it comes to maintaining friendships, love and integrity are far more important. I'm also fully aware that I won't maintain the same appearance as I age.
