i am not the biggest in my group of friends, but a buddy of mine was. he had the biggest dick and got the better looking girls than i could. so i was jealous of him having a bigger dick and getting more girls. he was definitely the leader o the group.

This sounds so very high-school ... in most cases, those who brag the most have the least to back it up - and most of us learn this as we grow up.
i never said bragging. you don't have to brag for people to know you have a big dick or that girls like you. one of the best things is when a girl does the talking for you and gets the reputation started.
but besides that, the idea most people who brag are small isn't true. typically people who have been given habitual positive feedback are confident enough to advertise

Mostly they either don't care or are just openly jealous. It doesn't often feel like respect.
Back in highschool (so legal age), one of the backbenchers in my class was popular in the school because of his huge dick.
